Sydney Out Back is proud to release its “Experience This” promotional film, which can been viewed at Sydney Out Back’s homepage www.SydneyOutBack.com.au, featuring aerial footage of Sydney Harbour, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Sydney Out Back’s MV Ku-ring-gai Chaser – its 50ft purpose-built motor catamaran based at Akuna Bay – cruising the National Park’s waterways, and Sydney’s 21km of golden Northern Beaches from Barrenjoey Headland to North Head, Manly.
“Experience This”, produced by filmmaker Nils Crompton for Sydney Out Back, provides a rare bird’s-eye view of Sydney’s newest travel destination: its northern region, showcasing Australia’s second oldest National Park, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, and its seemingly untouched waterways and wealth of indigenous heritage sites, as well as the Northern Beaches.
In the 3 minute clip, filmed by Sydney Out Back on a strikingly clear spring day from a Sydney Helicopter equipped with a Hollywood quality Sony Shotover K-1 film camera, “Experience This” shows Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park’s raw bush wilderness (more than 16,000 hectares) stretch to the horizon, which, in some shots, includes the Sydney city skyline (just 45 minutes away), the brilliant blue Tasman sea (highlighting the Park’s proximity to the ocean) or the Blue Mountains (to the West).
The Northern Beaches is a remarkable 21km coastline, interspersed with rugged headlands and sandwiched between National Parks at both ends – for which Sydney Out Back is EcoPass licenced with NSW National Parks & Wildlife. “Experience This” features just a few of the gorgeous golden beaches with rolling white-crested waves and it is easy to understand how this coastline is regarded by many as the home of Australia’s surfing history and beach culture, as well as the ideal place to venture off-the-beaten tourist trail.
For those who call this part of Sydney “home”, “Experience This” gives a fabulous fresh perspective of Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches and its neighbouring Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park; but, for those who are visiting Sydney from interstate or overseas, Sydney Out Back offers an eye-opening journey to a part of Sydney that is destined to become one of its “must-do” experiences.
